In even the most extreme conditions, TRIO's material handling division has the expertise to deliver reliable solutions.
When a mining concern in Canada needed a uniquely engineered conveyor system, they turned to TRIO. Conveyor systems suitable for the extreme conditions encountered required that a number of special features be included in the system design so that the equipment could withstand extreme temperature variances, subzero temperatures, and high wind loads.
TRIO's sales and design engineers worked closely with the client's engineering representatives, to design and build just such a system. This particular installation includes 13 conveyors ranging from 4m to 189m in length with widths between 750mm and 1050mm.
The conveyors complement the other TRIO equipment on site (a TF4616 feeder, a CR48 Stationary Electro-Magnet, a CT3042 Jaw Crusher, a twin shaft TIO7202 Inclined Screen equipped with TEMA urethane media, and a TC51 Cone Crusher) all working together to convert the nickel mine's raw material into suitable feed for their ball mills.
